Description
Project Overview
The proposed design for the Palashir Pavilion serves as an informal space within the architecture faculty to complement the educational process and host events and gatherings. Drawing from the rich cultural identity and context of the area, this pavilion aims to enhance and enrich the educational and social environment of Islamic Azad University of Khorasgan.
Design Approach
Inspired by the poetry of Omar Khayyam (We are in a state of perfection and imperfection / In a tarnished mirror, we sip from the cup), the design explores the themes of completeness and incompleteness. The pavilion strives to reinterpret past architectural concepts to create a responsive, flexible, and engaging space capable of accommodating diverse scenarios, ideas, and events.
The designed space is envisioned as a living entity, responding to its surroundings while engaging with new ideas and needs. This design not only considers aesthetics but also fosters a creative and dynamic environment for students and practitioners to share their ideas and establish meaningful interactions.
Key Features of the Project
The Palashir Pavilion is envisioned as a space in continuous transformation and evolution, avoiding repetition and monotony. By creating an active and vibrant environment, this pavilion plays a significant role in enhancing the standards of education and architecture. The created space can function as a platform for learning, collaboration, and idea exchange among students and faculty.
Given these characteristics, the Palashir Pavilion is recognized as a distinctive and innovative project at Islamic Azad University of Khorasgan, inspiring future designs in educational and cultural domains.
